Join a Channel
/join <channel>
Change Your Name
/nick <newname>
Register with Nickserv
/nickserv identify <password>
This will protect your name from other using it.

/nickserv identify <password>
Disconnect your Dead Connections or Impersonators
/nickserv ghost <name> <password>
