Situation Description

Starting on 27 May 2013 at 18:05, there was an incident where our upstream provider, Cogeco experienced an outage of all network services to most of the city for undetermined reasons.

Diagnostics issued from off-site revealed that the provider's own central equipment that services our network was directly impacted and was completely unavailable.

Impact

The incident caused our network to become unavailable to the widespread Internet. There has been no outage to any internal systems incurred.
