Situation Description

There was an incident where our upstream provider, Cogeco experienced an outage of all services to most of the city for undetermined reasons.

Diagnostics issued from off-site revealed that the provider's own central equipment that services our network was directly impacted and was completely unavailable.

Impact

The incident caused our network to become unavailable to the widespread Internet. There has been no internal outage to any systems incurred.
